Peace of Mind

Licensed & Insured

The credentials behind every event we serve — held, current, and verifiable. We publish them because your celebration deserves more than a promise.

Florida-Licensed Caterer

DBPR Catering License

The Affogato Cart holds a catering license from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation — the same regulatory standard restaurants answer to. Our operation is inspected and follows Florida's food-service code at every step.

Licensed Commissary Kitchen

Prep · Cleaning · Storage

All of our preparation, cleaning, and storage happens in a licensed, inspected commissary kitchen — never a home kitchen, never a garage. Florida requires this of every mobile food business, yet it's one of the most quietly skipped rules in the industry. Not here.

ServSafe®-Certified Manager

At every event — always

A ServSafe®-certified food protection manager is on site at every single event we serve. Not on call, not sometimes — always. Your guests are served under the supervision of nationally certified food-safety training, from prep to the last pour.

Fully Insured

Certificates within 24 hours

We carry comprehensive liability insurance for every event. If your venue requires a Certificate of Insurance — including naming the venue as additional insured — we provide it within 24 hours, at no cost. Venue coordinators love us for a reason.

Why we publish this

Licensing, certification, and insurance are not glamorous — but they are the difference between a professional caterer and a cart with a nice logo. Many mobile dessert and coffee vendors never mention them, and experienced venues have learned to ask. We publish ours so you don't have to.

Four questions to ask any caterer
  • Are you licensed with the Florida DBPR?
  • Will a certified food-safety manager be on site at my event?
  • Where is your food prepped and stored — a licensed commissary, or someone's home?
  • Can you send my venue a certificate of insurance before I pay a deposit?

Our answer to all four is the right one — in writing, before you've paid anything. Whoever you book, make sure theirs is too.

For venue coordinators
